Shop & Yard Maintenance Worker

Maple Leaf Drilling is looking for a Shop and Yard Maintenance Worker for immediate hire, with welding or mechanical experience an asset. Must provide Driver's Abstract and Criminal Record Check. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping a workspace organized, and is eager to support day-to-day shop operations.

 

Qualifications

• Candidate must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, there will be long days, and evenings with some weekends.
• Must have own vehicle to get to work, no public transportation available.
• First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHIMS), other Safety Courses would be an asset.
• Mechanically Inclined
• Equipment Operation Including Skid Steer Operation would be an asset

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting Shop Manager perform tasks
• Loading, unloading, lifting heavy materials
• Working outdoors in all conditions
• Vehicle Maintenance
• Paper work for Daily Job Functions
• Assist with general shop duties including cleaning, organizing, and basic maintenance
• Assist with prepping tools, supplies, and vehicles for field crews
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely
• Help maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
